There he dug a huge hole. This made the people angry and they chased him away. When he returned home, his Blind Listening father told him that if he had beaten a drum and danced instead, the people there would have bought salt from him. Then, he went to a village where there happened to be a fire. Rushing to the place, he started drumming and dancing, only to be thrown out by the people. His father told him that he should have poured water on the fire

instead, if he wanted to sell salt there. In the next place he went to, a couple were fighting with each other. The foolish man poured a bucketful of water on them, again to be chased away. His father later told him that he should have tried to settle the quarrel, in which case they would have bought salt from him. In the final event, the man saw two bulls fighting with each other. He

stepped in to stop the fight and was gored to death by angry bulls.

Sorcerer Stone

Once upon a day, there was a poor widow who lived with his only son called Andreas Lumut in one old abandoned house in the countryside of Surabaya. The widow was so poor that she couldn’t afford for buying some expensive medicine for her brain cancer. The cancer was impossible to be cured.

After a few years, the widow passed away, and then Andreas Lumut was adopted by Mr Jimmy whose beautiful daughter named Klething Kuning was five years old. Andreas was at the tenth grade of senior high school at that time.

Mr Jimmy was very nice to Andreas Lumut until one day when Andreas Lumut was going to school on foot suddenly he found a round red stone on the street. He took and kept it in his pocket.

At night, when he was sleeping, he had a dream. In his dream he met with his father’s spirit. The spirit told Andreas that the red stone is a sorcerer stone which can heal sick people.

One morning Mr Jimmy called Andreas to his private room. “Andreas Lumut, I need to tell you something” said Mr Jimmy “ Klething Kuning has a brain cancer as your mother had”

“Don’t worry Mr. Jimmy” answered Andreas.

“Why do you say don’t worry to me Andreas?” said Mr Jimmy

“Because I had a dream and a vision last night” replied Andreas.

“What is the relationship between your dream and my sick daughter?” asked Mr Jimmy

“My father’s spirit told me that the stone I found several days ago could heal sick people” answered Andreas Lumut.

“Can I believe you” said Mr. Jimmy

“Why don’t we try it” answered Andreas.

After Andreas had treated her, the miracle happened on Klething Kuning. She was finally recovered from brain cancer after being treated by Andreas Lumut with the help of the sorcerer stone.

Mr Jimmy was very happy. He sent Andreas to the higher level of education until he had graduated from medicine department and become a famous doctor. Finally, Andreas married Klething Kuning. He lived happily ever after since then.
